modified ski operations 2020/21

Ski Quechee is part of the fabric of our Club and one of the main reasons why many families find our Community so special. We have been working with the Winter Sports Committee along with the State of Vermont, Vermont Ski Areas Association and National Ski Areas Association to establish proper COVID protocols and guidelines.

Opening Day is December 23, 2020, weather and terrain permitting. Ski Quechee is offering daily lift tickets on opening day, but will be monitoring business levels, terrain and COVID-19 safety concerns on a day-to-day basis. We strongly recommend that Family Guests purchase a season pass to eliminate the chance of daily passes being restricted on a given day.

Know Before You Go

If you are sick, please stay home.

Social Distancing and Face Coverings

Members and guests will be required to wear face coverings in lines, when loading and unloading the chairlift and at The Base Lodge. Staff members will be required to wear face coverings. Staff may limit the number of guests in any area of the The Club and grounds to ensure proper physical distancing.

Members will be required to show a new Ski Quechee ID Card to the attendant at the lift.

To obtain the new ID Card, please contact Membership Services between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm at (802) 295- 9356 or info@quecheeclub.comIf your profile photo is recent, your cards will be printed and held for pick-up. Members or Season Pass holders who have not had a photo taken will be asked to get a photo and wait for their ID/Pass. Please plan to pick up your passes in advance of opening day.

Submission of a Season Ski Pass COVID-19 Attestation for the entire 2020/21 ski season is a requirement for release of Ski Quechee ID Cards and Season Passes. For the most up-to-date information regarding the State of Vermont cross-state travel guidelines, please visit:

  • When in the parking lots, we ask that you wear appropriate face coverings/masks and practice social distancing by remaining at least 6 feet apart from others not in your household.
  • Consider your vehicle your own "personal Base Lodge." There will be no bag storage in the Base Lodge this season.
  • To get your boots on in the parking lot, we recommend bringing folding chairs and something to cover the ground.

Daily Lift Tickets

Daily Lift Tickets are available beginning on Opening Day
  • Please keep in mind that business levels, terrain and any Covid-19 safety concerns will be monitored on a day-to-day basis and there may be days that we limit or eliminate the ability to buy a daily pass on certain days.

We still strongly recommend that Family Guests purchase a season pass so they do not risk the possibility of arriving and not being able to purchase a daily ticket due to safety restrictions.
  • There will be select days when the number of daily lift tickets will be limited. It is highly recommended that individuals and families purchase a season pass for the 2020/21 season. Season Pass Holders and Members will not be impacted by these limited sales days.
