OTTAUQUECHEE RIVER TRAIL

From the Red Barn and Quechee Clubhouse, the Ottauquechee Trail invites you to walk a gravel/asphalt path across the pedestrian bridge on the river, past Murphy Farm and onto the shores of Lake Pinneo. This is an easy walk or bike ride for the entire family!

The Ottauquechee Trail then follows Murphy Road to the Quechee covered bridge, past Simon Pearce and the pocket park, onto the Village Green and its gravel loop.

Eastward from the Quechee covered bridge is under development with various portions being completed and a future priority to get it all connected. A hiker can use a combination of the trails and roads to arrive at the Marshland Farm. There, the trail splits into a beautiful hike along Dewey's Pond and into the Quechee Gorge, or to the VINS trails off Route 4. Continuing Eastward from Marshland Farm, the trail is a combination of wood chips, dirt and mowed grass to the Polo Field.
