Accounting - Human Resources

Human Resources Associate
Seeking Full-time Human Resources Associate to administer HR policies,
programs and practices. The individual will be responsible for:
  • coordinates recruitment;
  • conducts new employee orientation;
  • administers benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k);
  • manages requests for FMLA, STD, LTD;
  • directs safety program and processes workers' comp. claims;
  • responds to requests for information from governmental agencies;
  • conducts internal investigations;
  • coaches managers regarding employee relations; and
  • maintains personnel and payroll files.

PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred. 5 years of progressive human
resources experience, strong written and verbal communications skills,
and ability to work as a team member.  Bachelor's degree in HR preferred.

Membership Services

Membership Services Representative

The Quechee Club, Vermont’s Premier Four-Season Recreational Club is
recruiting for a Part-time Membership Services Representative.  If you are
a people person working in the retail or the restaurant business and you are
looking for a career change that provides opportunity, then put your
personality and ambition to work with us.  Responsibilities:  Assists
members/guests in all front office-related areas, ability to be proactive to
understand the needs of members and guests, ability to access and input
information into POS system, be highly organized and focus on fine details.
Experience handling cash, reservations systems, telephone/switchboard
operations, MS Office Suite and Adobe preferred. 
Schedule:  Fri-Sat-Sun 10 AM-6PM through September 30.  Will also fill in
during vacations.

 
Health Club

Fitness Class Instructor
Seeking a Fitness Class Instructor to work a couple days per week and be available
to fill in during vacations.  Must have CPR/AED/First Aid certifications.  Ability
to complete workout and motivate participants.  This is a non-exempt, part-time
position.  Must be available to work varied hours including days, evenings,
weekends, and holidays.  If you have a desire to work for one of the finest
country clubs in the U.S. and you can demonstrate the right background, attitude,
and willingness to please people - we would like to hear from you.

Lifeguard
Enforces aquatic regulations, responds to emergency situations, participates
in training.  Must have First Aid, CPR/AED certifications, Lifeguard
Certification, and a minimum of one year of experience.  This is a non-exempt,
seasonal position.  Must be available to work varied hours including weekends
and holidays from May 1-September 30. 

Gate Attendant
Seeking full- and part-time seasonal Gate Attendants at Lake Pinneo.  Individuals
will be responsible for collecting entrance fees, checking for appropriate passes,
and recording patron information.  Engages and interacts with patrons including
controlling access, dealing with individuals who violate regulations, or may be
destructive or inebriated.  Must have ability to use communication skills when
interacting with aggressive, intoxicated, or obnoxious guests.  Sound judgment
required.  Flexibility to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and
holidays.  High School Diploma or GED.

Food & Beverage – Kitchen

Line Cooks
The Quechee Club has multiple restaurants offering a variety of menus: farm-to-
table, Pub, Italian, and a variety of theme-based menus.  The settings range from
al fresco to tavern casual to formal dining.  In addition, The Club is a popular
site for special events, such as weddings and holiday parties.

We are currently interviewing for experienced full- and part-time Line Cooks!

You will prepare and produce menu items for the restaurants following
recipes and portion controls with proper plate presentation.

Qualified applicants must have:
  • A willingness to learn
  • Enjoy working in a busy customer service-oriented setting
  • An open/flexible schedule (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)

Dishwashers
Seeking responsible, hard-working individuals to work in the Kitchen to maintain
work areas, equipment, plate ware, and utensils in a clean, sanitary and orderly
condition.  Scrapes and pre-rinses dishes then places in dishwasher machine. 
Washes pots, pans and trays by hand or machine.  Removes trash and garbage to
dumpster.  Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Banquet Prep Cook
Part-time seasonal.  Assists Banquet Chef in all aspects of prepare, set-up,
decorate, stock and dissemble buffet. Ideal candidate able to cook from scratch,
create soups and sauces, and perform all line work including broiling,
baking, frying, and sautéing.  Previous banquet experience desired. 
Must be able to work as a member of a team and in a fast-paced environment.

Food & Beverage – Dining
 
Houseman
Seeking Part-Time Houseman to assist with all food and beverage related
tasks including planning, set-up, execution and tear down of all events.  
Reviews assignments for staff assigned to each event. Includes assignments
for each portion of the work shift; including set-up, reception, event tear-down
and side work.  Works closely with IT personnel on all aspects of Audio Visual.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekend and evening hours.
General function set-up and breakdown experience in a hotel or club.  Strong 
communication skills.  Knowledge of A/V equipment preferred.

Servers (Lunch and Banquet)
Part-time seasonal positions.  Provides food and beverage to members and guests
at Davidson’s, Clubhouse Deck, Murphy’s Farm Tavern, and other dining areas
as requested.  Seeking individuals with previous experience and current state
alcohol serving permit.  Ideal candidates possess excellent people skills and
team player.

Bartender
Prepares and serves beverages to members and guests according to established
recipes and in adherence with State of Vermont and Club regulations. 

This is a part-time seasonal position

Base Lodge Cashier
Part-time Seasonal position.  Base Lodge Attendant performs pre-opening
and/or closing tasks, handles all cash and credit transactions for purchases,
greets and serves members and their guests, and maintains clean, organized
and stocked work area.  Must have excellent people skills, outgoing personality,
team player and hard worker.  Previous experience preferred.  Must be
available to work varied hours including weekends and holidays from
mid-April/May to September 30.

Snack Bar Attendants (Pool, 10th Tee)
Part-time seasonal Snack Bar Attendant needed for the 10th Tee and
Pool.  Individuals will provide food and beverage to members and guests.
Must be 18 years of age and have a current state alcohol serving permit. 
This is a non-exempt, seasonal position.  Must be available to work varied
hours including weekends and holidays from mid-April/May to September 30.

Recreation

Recreation Staff
Seasonal Recreation Staff needed to fill a variety of positions in the Health
Club and Recreation departments.  Individuals will rotate through a 
variety of positions, including but not limited to Health Club Desk
Attendant, Après Ski, Youth Programs, etc.  Must be available weekends
and holidays beginning mid-December through February vacation.

Camp Counselors
Under the direction of the Recreation Manager, to provide children
between the ages of 3 and 12 with planned, structured, and supervised
activities in the realm of sport, games, arts & crafts, educational sessions,
and field trip experiences.  All while ensuring a safe camp and recreation
environment for all children.  Requirements: 
  • Previous camp counselor experience preferred,
  • Supervisory experience of children ages 3 to 12 preferred, 
  • High School graduate preferred,
  • Community First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer,
  • Life guard training,
  • Ability to work in potentially hazardous conditions
