Qlla Charities Vision Statement

A Vision For The Valley
The Impact of Community Coming Together

For Members, their families and guests, Quechee Club is so much more than a place to enjoy a four-season recreational lifestyle; it’s a vibrant community committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, all centered around the enjoyment, and support, of the Upper Valley.

QLLA Charities, Inc, was formed with this vision in mind―to bring residents of Quechee Lakes together to make a positive and significant impact in the local community. Since 1980, this non-profit organization has raised millions of dollars for the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock, as well as for other local causes like the Quechee Elves holiday season initiative for families in need.

This summertime gala directly supports the Ken & Vickie French Child Advocacy and Protection Program (CAPP) at Dartmouth Health Children's. A chance to enjoy a fun night out and contribute to a very worthy cause, the evening includes dinner and entertainment, as well as silent and live auctions. During the same time of year, a special fundraising wall is featured in the clubhouse to shine light for the cause.

QLLA Charities Charitable Sponsorship

Supporting Our Community
QLLA Charities enjoys a long-standing tradition of supporting the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (CHaD), now known as Dartmouth Health Children’s. The CHaD Classic Golf Tournament and the CHaD Gala have been successful annual events that continue to raise awareness as well as funding for this very worthwhile cause.

In addition to these efforts, we now seek to broaden our scope of support for charitable purposes within the Upper Valley. Among the ways we have chosen to do this is by offering limited fundraising assistance to small groups and nonprofits which may or may not have their own tax-exempt status. Examples thus far have included the Friends of Quechee Covered Bridge project and the Quechee Elves fundraiser.
