The Quechee Club is located in the heart of Quechee, Vermont.  The Club is home to two 18-hole championship golf courses, a ski hill, excellent recreational facilities and outstanding dining facilities.  With professional staff and exclusive members, the private Quechee Club offers a team-oriented environment and the chance to work at one of the finest country clubs in the United States.

We offer all of our employees the use of the Club's amenities and facilities including a fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, golf, tennis, walking and XC ski trails, ski hill, a 50-acre man-made lake with beach access and boat rentals, plus meal discounts.

The following positions require availability to work varied hours: days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Concierge

The Quechee Club is seeking a Concierge. The Concierge fills an extremely important role at The Club. Representation of quality service must be presented at the front door. A successful candidate possesses enthusiasm, a personal drive to please, flexibility and great interpersonal skills. This position of Concierge is responsible for maintaining and increasing member satisfaction through the performance of daily tasks designed to benefit the membership of the Club. These tasks include, answering questions about upcoming Club events, routing phone calls appropriately throughout the Clubhouse, and performing general office duties to assist Membership Services. The Concierge will also assist in special projects as assigned.

Job Specific:

Responds to all members needs and requests in a timely manner.
Distribution of club materials to affiliated vendors.
Solicits and obtains information from members that will be of assistance in providing personalized service and responding to all member needs.
Develops program for booking reservations for entertainment and sporting events, dry cleaning delivery, and travel arrangements for members.
Develops and maintains a comprehensive knowledge of all QLLA events to provide members information in regards to location, time, and cost.
Develops and follows all specified procedures to administer affairs of the concierge desk, including sending and receiving parcels and mail, and general accounting in relation to member accounts.
Alerts individual departments upon arrival of special deliveries of parcels.
Immediately reports any and all suspicious occurrences and emergency situations to management and the proper authorities.
Provide tours of the property and answer questions in regard to special events.
Assist the club in coordinating outside vendors for printing purposes.
Assists Membership Director in responding to and facilitating all rental inquiries using preferred rental agents.
Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Food & Beverage – Kitchen

Executive Chef
Seeking strong and passionate leader and Culinarian with proven track record of providing premier services. The Executive Chef is a hands-on leader who is responsible for all food production, including that used for restaurants, banquet functions and other outlets. He or she develops menus, creates food purchase specifications and recipes; supervises production staff; develops and monitors departmental food and labor budgets; and maintains the highest professional food quality and sanitation standards. Qualifications include:

Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts and/or Hospitality Management;
Eights (8) years of food production and management experience;
American Culinary Federation certification; and
Certified in food safety.

Dishwashers-$500 hiring bonus for FT hire

Seeking responsible, hard-working individuals to work in the Kitchen to maintain
work areas, equipment, plate ware, and utensils in a clean, sanitary and orderly
condition.  Scrapes and pre-rinses dishes then places in dishwasher machine. 
Washes pots, pans and trays by hand or machine.  Removes trash and garbage to
dumpster.  Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.  

Food & Beverage – Dining
 
Food Runner
We are looking for a Part Time food runner to join our team!

Do you have a passion for service? Would you enjoy working in a beautiful club with friendly staff and members? Is part time a good schedule for you? If so-we are the place for you!

Nights, weekends and holidays may be required.

Job Type: Part-time

Valet
Part-time seasonal position. Must be a minimum of 18 years old with a current, valid driver's license.

Welcomes visitors, members and their guests, parks and retrieves vehicles, provides information about the surrounding area including travel, lodging, and restaurants. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.

Must be available to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays,.

Golf and Ski

Ski/Golf Equipment Mechanic-Full Time-Year Round
This position will focus on the maintenance of our Ski Lifts and related equipment.  Qualified candidates should have some ski area lifts and equipment maintenance experience.

Applicants should also possess a working knowledge of gasoline and diesel equipment along with hydraulic and electrical systems.  Metal fabrication and welding experience are both a plus along with possessing some of your own tools.

Summer work consists of off-season ski equipment maintenance along with helping the golf course equipment maintenance.

This is a full time benefit eligible position and is perfect for a current apprentice ski mechanic who will also gain some golf course equipment maintenance experience.  A competative pay and benefits package will be offered.  This position is available immediately.

Part Time Ski Patrol
We are looking for part-time ski patrollers for the upcoming winter.  Qualified applicants should have some OEC or EMT training or equivalent experience, along with being an intermediate or better skier.  Interested candidates may also attend a regional national ski patrol OEC course in the fall to gain the training needed to get started as a patroller.

We offer a friendly family-oriented atmosphere, featuring beginner to intermediate ski terrain that is fully covered with man made snow.  The area operates Fridays through Sundays weekly, with full operations during the Christmas/New Year and February school vacation periods.  The area generally opens around the middle of December and runs through the season at the end of March.

Ski patrollers work a rotating schedule.  Patrollers are paid an hourly wage along with lunch on the days worked as well as a Family ski pass and guest privileges along with reciprocal skiing privileges at other cooperating ski areas.
