What You Need To Know?
Ski slopes and cross-country trails are established exclusively for the safe enjoyment of permitted winter activities. We ask that all participants be aware of and follow the rules outlined below.
Safety: The Ski Operations Supervisor is delegated sole responsibility and authority to determine when the ski lifts and trails are safe for use, or unsafe and to be closed. The Supervisor’s decisions in these matters are final and re-evaluated each day.
Trail Use for Snowshoeing: Please cross-country ski on designated trails, or snowshoe on the very edges of the packed lanes. Snowshoers are requested to stay off the groomed tracks for the safety of everyone and to keep trails properly groomed.
Trail Use for Walking: Please Do Not Walk on the X/C trails with street shoes. This keeps everyone safe and the trails properly groomed.
Trail Use for Sleds and Snowmobiles: With the exception of QLLA sponsored events, sleds, toboggans, snowmobiles and other conveyances are not permitted anywhere on the trails or ski slopes. The sledding hill is reserved for use of sleds during the daytime only; nighttime sledding is expressly prohibited. Cross-country skiing is not permitted on downhill ski trails. Snowmobiling is not permitted anywhere on QLLA grounds including the golf courses, ski area or Section 5 cross country areas.
Pets: For safety and sanitary reasons, pets, including dogs, are not permitted at any time on QLLA common areas, including golf courses, ski hill, skating pond, Clubhouse and beach areas. Since the X/C Nordic trails are groomed throughout the golf course; this also includes the X/C trails. Pets are permitted on our Section 5 hiking trails, including the dog loop trail, and we ask that you properly dispose of their waste.

Uphill travel is allowed on days when the ski area is closed unless snowmaking or grooming is in progress. Uphill travel is not permitted at night.
